Any specific requirements ? Open or closed ?

Check out the Grado SR60s. They are open design but I really like them for Rock.

Check around and see if you find some Sennheiser HD280s. They retail for $99. Little over your price but you might be able to find them on the forums or somewhere on sale.

HD280's go for around 80 dollars on ebay. Probably best closed headphones in the price range.

Ive got ad700's and MS1's, both slightly above your budget perhaps but personally I preffer the ad700's for ambient indie rock. But the ms1's have punchier bass. So if you want to sacrifice soundstage for a punchy bass I would look along the grado/ms lines. With that said interpol sounds fine on them right now

THE ATH-AD500 goes for less than 80$. it sounds nearly identical to the ad700 (i've had both)
