Well if you want them for Gym then IEMs wont be the best bet...every time you move you will hear an amplified sound of wire brushing against your clothes, even you breath will become audible.

If you have to go for IEMs then ER-6 are pretty good ...and would cost about 60 online.

you got the fx33 and fx77 too?

how do the fx77, fx55 sound compared to the fx33?
soundstage, bass, mids, highs?

I have The Metro.fi 2 and the MylarOne X3i. The X3i barely beat the Metro.fi in terms of clarity. the build quality is worlds apart though. My X3i cable is already splitting after two months! The Metro.fi 2 seem almost bullet proof compared to the X3i.

The Metro.fi have the "fun" sound that the super.fi have, but they use a dynamic driver instead of an armature which allows for a smaller housing.

The IM716 require an amp to make them sound good which would put you way over the $50 limit you were looking at.
