Hello,
So I figured that with getting new headphones, it's time that I upgrade the amp on my computer, and I feel that a tube amp would work really well with my new headphones, the Oppo PM-3. Now, the thing is that right now, I have my speakers going into a Topping TP-22 which is connected to a Modi 2, so I do need something with at least a headphone amp AND a pre-amp to pass the RCA signal to the speakers. As such, the options I know about are as follows;
- Schiit Vali 2
- DarkVoice 336SE
- LittleDot Tube Amp Mk. III
- Project Horizon III (I'd like to say Project Ember, but I can't solder at all)
- Maverick Audio Tubemagic A1
If anyone has any contribution at all, including other options or comparisons, it would be very appreciated.
