I currently store most of my CDs in a DJ case which is currently filled. The CDs themselves are inside Tyvek sleeves. For most of them I have printed a "mock" CD cover out of computer paper and slid that into the Tyvek case. I then slide the CD behind the paper "mock" CD cover. Does anybody know if these Tyvek sleeves scratch discs? Is this a good long-term storage solution? I just want my CDs to last as long as possible. Anybody have any recommendations to how I can improve my storage? Fixed the links! I have quite a few CD notebook style thingys lying around my house but I don't like using them. I'm afraid that the discs will get scratched sliding in and out. I also keep my music in alphabetical order and this is hard to do in a notebook style CD holder (because when you buy new CDs, you must move all the ones after it to make room for the new one in the correct spot.) Also, they really don't have a space for a CD cover, unless you want to slide it over the disc.

that's pretty hardcore. what did you do with the jewel cases?

^^^ The jewel cases for the official releases I have are actually stacked up in my closet away from sight. Some of the discs are burnt, such as bootlegs and concerts.
