Im looking to build a nice home stereo. I have a CD player, im getting MIT cables (t2 ICs and speaker), and some nice PSBs, but now I need something to power them. I want to get something tubed i think, and it has to have more than 15watts.

The PSBs work best with ss in my opinion. They are already warm, full and rich sounding speakers(600i). Tube amps, especially cheap ones, lack bass control and can be noisy with this speaker, and reliability is often an issue. The amp you list you own would likely work better. Before everybody jumps in, I am the one he may be getting the speakers from and I KNOW THEM WELL. I want to be sure you wont be disappointed if you get them. Audio is fun for me and I dont ever want to intentionally make an enemy over an object.

Alright it sounds like im going to need SS. after doing a little searching i found that the Parasound HCA-1000A is by far the best chioce but Ill still need some type of volume control that is very cheap.
