Well, since you guys are listing more than one...

I have to give Disney's The Jungle book the no. 2 spot in my list.

I will give the Amadeus soundtrack the no. 3 spot.

Can't say which one is better:

Pulp Fiction or Trainspotting

I haven't seen one but if there is a soundtrack for A Clockwork Orange, it just has to be good

(Gotta check out that Requiem for a Dream soundtrack, it's got surprisingly many votes)

Many Ennio Morricone's OSTs are great, apart of the Mission and spaghetti westerns I also recommend La Piovra soundtrack (an Italian TV serial from the 80's).

My current purchase is the Master & Commander soundtrack. It sounds very good to me, trio Davies/Gordon/Tognetti did a nice work. Highly recommended.

i'm always tickled by the mental image of a japanese guy wailing on that harmonica like someone out of the missisippi backwoods. grade a stuff as expected of japanese composers, yet a really solid american jazz/blues feel.

and i'm a sucker for anything joe hisaishi. all the stuff he's done for ghibli studios is rad, not to mention his solo records and the parasite eve soundtrack.

Yes! I own this on 180gram vinyl and it sounds fabulous and the music is so moving.

My personal vote goes to the Robocop soundtrack
