Koss KSC-35 is balanced, and perfect, even for bass-heavy music... I'd say, forget the Sportapros....trust me, man...

The MX-400 (and -500) are very good 'phones, and my choice for earbuds; however, IMO the KSC-35 sound better, have better range, and are more comfortable... and cost about the same, or maybe $5 more.
