I was given a used Zen Vision M, which now refuses to charge! I've had it for a couple months, no warranty of course.

I thought it sounded very good.

Is there an MP3 player that sounds better than the rest? With Mothers Day tomorrow there may be some really good sales going. So maybe I'll get new with a warranty instead. I was told that prior the unit malfunctioned, and that this was the replaced new one. Barely used, but barely long lasting for sure!

My burned in but brand spanking new headphones are sr60i and RE2 and KSC75

Thank you

While I realize that this question leads more with a request about info for best sounding DAP for the 'phones that you own, this would probably get more notice in the portable source gear forum.

As to your question, the most beloved DAPs here at head-fi are the ipod, zune, sony MP3 walkman series, Cowon, Sandisk's Sansa, some Samsung, and old iRivers.

The portable source gear forum is actually pretty good for getting opinions on sound quality with different DAPs. Personally, I love my Sony and can vouch for their awesomeness...but I am pretty biased.

Good luck,

Nylan
