Hate to make a whole thread for this, but a friend is about to purchase a Zune and can't find a price nearly as good as the staples.com deal that was going on before. Walmart.com has it for 199.54 , and that's the best I have found. Anyone know of better deals? Thanks

less than 200.00 dollar for a Zune is a super deal. What better price do you want ? FREE as in Beer ?

Check slickdeals.net and fatwallet.com for good deals on the zune. I see them posted there all the time...

Check out Amazon. They normally have very good prices for everything (except the JVC HA-RX900s and the Denon D2000s, it's weird).

I bought a Zune 120 last week and paid around US$230, which for the brazilian standards is a steal (I can't say for the americans). I bought that from an american seller who sent it to me and it seems to have gotten here in Brazil, as I can see using the tracking number. The BIGGEST problem is that I can see as well that they will charge the importation fees which here in Brazil are 60% of the actual price+shipping. So what seemed to be a great deal, now it has become a nightmare. If they did charge the correct amount, the final value will be more than 400 bucks (zune+taxes+shipping). I just have to wait and go to the post office.

Well, as you can see, it is pretty damn hard to live out of the US or Europe when it comes to buying eletronics. We have to take chances importing things from sellers who are willing to ship abroad, and pray so that the customs won't check our packages.

Well, buying electronics in Brazil might suck but, hey, at least you have Carnival.

At least a week of parties, drinking, girls...

There is a very important songwriter here in Brazil that says that a person who doesn't like samba is either a bad fellow or nuts. I think I'll have to spend my carnival using a >$400 zune... lol
