EDIT: Do you have your amp plugged into any kind of Surge Protection? That was one main reasons I was wanting the Hydra 2 (I live in a area with alot of lightning strikes and power surges). I also think I live in an area where my house doesn't get alot of good/clean power (hence, the Monster AVS 2000) so I've been thinking those Hydras would be a big help for a while.
