Ok. So i'll set the scene. I have around £200 to spend on a decent set of portable headphones. I really really really do not want to resort to buying Dre beats Studio HDs because they're overpriced for what you get (and i hate Monster) but at the moment i really can't find something which matches my requirements - everything i find fails on something (usually the detachable cord)

  1. Detachable cable - This is a must - i need something durable and with a detachable cable
  2. Good for bass heavy music - i listen to hip-hop, dubstep, drum and bass and i want something that can handle these genres well not over-power (which tbh Beats kind of do)
  3. Does not need an amplifier
  4. Look good - i'm going to wear these on the train - i'd rather not look like a ****.
  5. Are around the £150 - £200 mark - i don't mind spending more but i'm not buying these for home use so i don't think its worth spending more (since i'll rarely if ever use them at home)
  6. Don't leak too much sound - I'd rather not have the entire train carriage knowing that i like the Lion King theme tune after a long day at work.
I'm going to be playing them through an iphone or Cowon player.

PS i am aware that the beats leak like hell but i'm struggling to find a viable alternative

Can anyone please suggest headphones which match my requirements?

Any help would be much appreciated!
