Hi everyone,

What do you think would be the best choice of portable setup, out of these?

(Note: I'm using Senn HD650s and Senn MX 980s. I listen to a lot of early techno, drum & bass and jazz in FLAC. At home I'm using OSX with an apogee duet & iRiver Media Player)

Ipod Classic 160gb (Rockboxed) + Sony PHA-1A ??

Ipod Classic 160gb (Rockboxed) + Oppo HA-2 ??

iBasso DX90 ??

I've excluded all of the Astell & Kern products because I've read that they don't drive the 650's very well, which is a shame. Also, I'm looking for something that can play higher quality 192/24 FLACs, and I'm worried rockbox isn't the best for this.

At the moment, I'm leaning towards the DX90. If you have any other suggestions, please share! Thanks all.

Fiio X5.
In the future there should be a FiiO X5K (or X5 Gen II?) and a FiiO X7.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just did a quick search for Fiio vs iBasso dx90...

Looks like people are leaning towards the dx90. Maybe the Fiio X7 or X5K would surpass both?
