100+ Head-Fier
Straight up, I've never owned anything but IEMs, currently using UE11's. I'm looking for something that is at least as good as these gems in a headphone that I can use at the gym, something that will provide variety and a nice change of pace.
I've read through some threads here and am massively overloaded with information. As best I can tell what I want is a closed can (I really need to block out the nasty music that the gym feels compelled to play), something that is small and light and something that will stay mostly secure as I move around.
Money is no object. I will be using a 5.5g iMod and have a variety of amps (LISA, iQube, Pico and PRII). I listen to blues, classic rock, country and pop.
So far, I been looking at the AT ESW9, the Senn HD25 and the Edition 9. I'm guessing there are others, but I'm still too new to this side of head fi to know where to look.
So, if UE11's are my current standard, is there anything that will be a good compliment for my needs and usage?
