I've been looking at the PA2V2, but the sale prices are way too expensive. It seems as if people are scrambling for them. Therefore, are there any portable amps that are better than the PA2V2 for around $50?

I have an iBasso T2 Alo Edition for sale for 45 bucks shipped in mint condition. I think that will be at least as good as what you are looking at if not better.

Seriously, you think the the PA2v2 is expensive? Then you might never be able to find a cheaper amp which sounds as good as the PA2v2.

For hd 600 forget any amp that runs on battery.
These cans are not made to be used with a portable amp, you'd be much better off saving for a little dot 3 for these cans.
The rule of thumb with these cans is if the amp isnt worth mroe than they are then its not good enough.

I'm really happy with the sound from my currently most used set up.

ipod classic 7th gen > LOD > Headamp Pico amp > Hd-600
