Which portable amp you've tried synergize best with the MS2i?

In my experience, only considering portables, you would do well with an AD8397-based amp. A 'high-performance' Mini^3 would do well.

If the poster above me correct, and you're in budget, get this.

I believe Norm designed the Go-Vibe based on his primary cans, the MS2i's. I've never tried this amp, but it might be worth investigating further. Unfortunately, Norm has just retired from the amp biz, so browsing the forums is your only real option...

Yup, and the last two versions used the AD8397

The AD8397 just rocks any Grado/Alessandro.

The Mini^3 with AD 8397 sounds excellent with my MS2i's. Great detail, but just enough warmth, and no stridency in the highs.
