I hope the previous poster was not serious. Never buy Senn off of eBay, there are many many fakes out there. Always buy from an authorized dealer, and double check with Senn that they are, in fact, authorized.

Sennheiser USA has a running list of non authorized dealers. If you do not see the dealer, but have suspicions, please check with your local distributor.

Ethan  is not quite correct,you can buy the IE8 of ebay and from an authorized seller at the same time and cheap also.
I got mine from ebay from a seller in the USA called studio1117 ,he is an authorized seller and i got mine through an auction and paid $307 USD for them shipped to Adelaide.
I checked him out thoroughly and he is on the Sennheiser website as an authorized seller.
I even posted pics here to see if they were fakes,but after no one helped me verify them as real or fakes i sent a pm to TheDeliveryMan who is a Sennheiser rep and who is a member here,he verified from my pics and the sellers id that they were genuine.
They sound great and i am happy with them.
But it is also true that 99% of IE8's sold on ebay are fakes.My first pair i bought were fakes,so i was very cautious when buying another pair,i was lucky to get a full refund from the fake seller.

There is also another ebay seller, razordogdeals, that sells genuine Sennheiser. You can verify with Sennheiser USA about it, and I have done it too. Got mine in a bidding in March, ~$270.
