Im fairly new to the hobby and am looking for advice. I hear a lot of people say cables dont matter and a few that say it does. I honestly dont know as i have never tried really high end cables but i am trying to squeeze the most performance out of my headphones so i am open to purchasing one. If i had to make a purchase of a cable to determine if cables truly make a difference and become a believer for the 2 headphones ive stated(both taking dual 3.5mm ended cable)what cables should i look into? If u had to convince someone that cables make a difference in improving sound quality what would you recommend. I mainly use 4.4mm balanced so it would be preffered but can try others

There's people on both sides of the argument, it's a big point of contention. Scientifically, balanced cables have interference rejection, which can sometimes but always mean a lower noise floor. If your balanced amp has much more power on that side, then you can stay in low or medium gain longer (again, sometimes) and get best performance that way. I've had over 450 headphones for the business over the years and had all the brands of cables out there. The best quality I've had are Audiophileninja, and Hart Audio Cables are incredibly convenient with the multikits I have to quick change plugs and save wear on headphone connectors. 4.4mm balanced is a great choice. Both made in U.S.A. so no tariff bill headaches. For low budget and still good quality for a mass produced cable, the Youkamoo cables on Amazon are good, I have sets of them too and the savings are pretty substantial. The black 6.5ft length ones are best, the older grey ones are microphonic (make noise when you move them) but the black ones are quiet.

I have both Audiophileninja cables and Corpse Cable Gravedigger cables. In my case I prefer the Corpse Cable with my Arya Stealth. Corpse Cable is US based as well, and I have purchased 4 cables from them thus far. Everyone has their go-to cable so you will get various answers (as well as those saying any cable will do). Get a well made cable that fits your budget (granted once you fall well below $100 it can get sketchy, YMMV).

Good Luck with your decision, and Happy Listening! :L3000:
