Hi, I'm looking for the best over ear headphones for watching movies on my laptop, I want them to be really really loud and drown out noise, but not too bass heavy. My budget is around £150. I'd like them to be of good a quality but louder than my Apple EarPods

What you need are headphones that isolate better than the apple earpods. Better isolation from outside noise will allow the movie sound to be heard more clearly at a lower volume. Try something like the ATH-M40X with a small portable amp like the Fiio E6 or the JDS Labs CmoyBB.

Or, get some good isolating IEMs, like the Etymotic HF5 or Shure SE215 with foam tips that fit well.
