I'm looking for the best IEMs I can get for my iPod... I don't want t use an ap or anything, just the phones and the player.

I was reading about the MylarOne X3i's but I can't find any available.

Anything else to consider or should I just wait for those?

(to be clear, the jaben site shows only x3 not x3i, so I assumed those were the older ones?)

Do you have a set budget? There are lot of good IEM's out there with a huge difference in price.

Jaben has been shipping out the X3is for a while now, even though the site says X3.

etymotic er-6i sounds great with an ipod if you were looking for a budget iem.

Yeah, I ordered the X3's from Jaben about a few weeks ago (it was listed as just "X3") and I got the x3i's.

SF5 Pro sounds great from the iPod.

I'm a big fan of Metro fi.2s, cheap and I was very surprised with the sound.

I'm testing the Klipsch Image and Custom 3s with a 5th gen iPod video. Both are pretty nice but pricey.

I guess my budget is 100 or less. The x3i looks like the best bang/buck... will the iPod (touch / iPhone) drive those ok?
