Hi guys and girls,

first time poster looking for some buying advice from the extended knowledge in this community.

Looking to go from my Bowers and Wilkins in ear (since they broke) to a set of on/over ear headphones and are trying to stay sub $100.

I've narrowed in down to three options and would be happy for your advice or other suggestions if I have overlooked something.

Harman Kardon CL - $64.99 on Amazon
Philips M1 - $72.70 on Amazon
Yamaha HPH-200BL - $79.54 on Amazon

Thanks for your time reading through and hopefully for your advice!

What is your source (amplifier, dac, music player)?

Neutral sound vs Bass heavy vs u shaped sound sig vs treble heavy? Which do you prefer?

Are your music recordings good and or your file bit rate?

Really should have given you more info :)

Source - Mostly an iPhone 5
Signature - I tend to listen to everything from Eminem to Chopin. I do like the bass in the heavier songs but I don't want it taking over everything.
Music Quality I believe is decent running Spotify at extremt setting where the newer releases run at 320 bitrate.

I'll have a look at the Martin Logan's - thanks for the suggestion!
