Just wondering what everyone thinks are the best headphones out there?

With the amps to match them I'm sure people are going to say the Stax SR009 ($5200~), the JBS labs Abyss ($5500), and of course the Sennheiser Orpheus ($20,000-$30,000).

SR 009s don't cost $5000, you got really ripped off if you paid that much.  But yep that and the Sennheiser HE90 or Orpheus are the most expensive by far.  and you'll need a nice electro stat amp for either of them that will run you at least $1,000 if you want a nice one.

It would be nice for the OP to define the word best as it often refers to two things:
 
1.)  What people subjectively think sounds the best to them.  This will produce a million answers.
2.)  What is technically the best, closest to neutral to the human hearing range, the fastest, the lowest distortion, the easiest to drive, etc.
 
The latter prevents an endless stream of responses that have been posted here for many many years.

If you have no budget what are you doing spending money you don't have on headphones? 
Be happy with what you have and just enjoy the beautiful beautiful music.

SR 009s don't cost $5000, you got really ripped off if you paid that much.  But yep that and the Sennheiser HE90 or Orpheus are the most expensive by far.  and you'll need a nice electro stat amp for either of them that will run you at least $1,000 if you want a nice one.

Don't forget the AudioQuest K2 speaker cable for $13,000 to go with your $250,000 Focal Grande Utopia III (or whatever it is), which can be run out of a Goldmunds Reference II turntable ($300,000) feeding an Aestheitx Lo Eclipse preamp (~$30,000), which is feeding Pivetta monoblocks ($650,000) to wrap up your $1,423,000 system (minus custom built room, and vinyl, AND interconnects/power cords).
