Actually, I believe that Skullcandy came up with the name 'SkullCrushers' after trying out a pair of AKG K81 DJs!

The Koss Easy Listener was sortof an . . . . interesting name.

headphone +5: skullcrusher

this artifact of the skull'candy set emits a sound so unbearable that upon equip, the wearer must save vs noise weapon at a penalty of 5 or be dazed for 1 turn.

Actually Grado suggests me some kind of bounty hunter from Star Wars...Etymotic sounds weird but very impressive and "techie".
