good day,
recently, my sansa clip+ has been in use of blu-tak to keep it alive because the jack housing has a massive crack down the middle, I also have taken to using my psp. But to my ears, these players just don't cut it. I need something new, except this time, it has to last me more than 8 months, I want something that won't crash every five minutes, or get cracks in the jack housing. To summarize, I want something more audiophiley that neither of my two players is giving me. Unfortunately, like most people, I have this annoying thing called a budget of £160. Now, my required specifications are:
size: don't care, in fact, the bigger the better but doesn't matter
quality: as much as you can get for £160
formats: (i.e. can it play music and video) music has to be able to do aac, mp3, wav and flac, and I'm not fussed about video
power: it has to drive me fischer audio fa-003 / brainwavz hm5
looks: not fussed
weight: not fussed
build quality: has to be amazing
also, they HAVE to have a custom eq setter, I can't go without one of these
other features I might like, but I can go without
an otg function
a dac function
a nice big twisty volume knob on the side instead of a rocker (they look really cool :3 )
some players I have already considered
colorfly c3
various cowon players
ihifi 760
NOTHING SANDISK
ibasso dx50
thanks in advance
