Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted and most of that was done in the headphone forums. I'm currently looking for an MP3 player for my girlfriend at around the $100 pricepoint, give or take. Do you have any recommendations on the "best" player out there in terms of sound quality and overall value?

As always I appreciate any input you can offer.

I am not quite sure about the prices in $, but I would recomend the Creative MoVu Slim when it comes to sound quality. Warm, dynamic and rich sound (incl. 5-bands custom equalizer). Actually very good compared to other players in this price range. It also have a 17 hours rechargable/replacably battery. The only negative thing is the power output, even if it knoks the socs of most players in this price range. So, unless you want her to play VERY loud, or use large powerhungry headphones, this is the one I'd go for.

Remember, I only care about the sound quality. I don't know how it is in the gadget compartment.

I would say Muvo TX FM. It's similar to Muvo Slim except it take AAA battery and has a different form factor
