Hey guys, which metal albums do you think have great production quality? For me I think Between the Buried and Me have excellent quality, as well as Whitechapel.

Defiantly love the stuff from Tool, if your into their stuff. Some of it is pretty good and worth checking out.

Metallica also has some good stuff if you know which years to look for. (Later 90s) <3 Metallica

I've always like the sound of Dream Theater's Awake.

Well its certain years of Metallica that you might notice a difference. Not all of their stuff is the same quality.

I like Amon Amarth (ip, With Oden On Our Side), Metallica (ip Ride the Lightning DCC Gold CD), Opeth, and Dream Theater.

Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction and Youthanasia are both well produced metal albums. Probably better staying away from recent remaster versions though.

Yep, Opeth are one of my favorites. Great quality

Metallica is my favorite. I think that it is a considerable quality.

Have a listen to the new My Dying Bride record, it is really well recorded.
