I was wondering if yall could help me find a very good jogging headphone to use with my ipod shuffle and sometimes with my ipod video. I jog/run with my shuffle often and the earbuds are terrible. I need something that wont make a lot of noise when I am running, are light, and stay in position. On top of all that I hope there is something that sounds good for under $50 (I could stretch it a little if needed). Thanks!

KSC75's or 35's. I use my 75's for jogging and they sound great and work fine. The rubber adjustable earclips make it easy to ensure that they don't go anywhere; I'm not sure how secure the 35's are, but the concensus about them seems to be that they have better bass and an overall warmer sound signature. The 75's can be bought new for around 15-$20, while the 35's can be bought off Ebay for about $25-30 I believe.

so the 35s are actually better? hmm counterintuative. How do they do with cancelling noise around you, like could you use them in a crowded room or on a treadmill? Thanks again.

For under $50 you can pretty easily get a used pair of e2cs. The have recently fallen out of favor in this forum, but for $45 I think most will agree that they are pretty darn good. They isolate sound very very well, and I just got a pair for running over the Koss.

Koss PortaPro won't fall off and sound fantastic, IMHO better than any other cans in that price category.

Besides, IEMs and jogging will probably give you microphonics issues.

I echo the KSC-35s. The wire is a little long, but the sound makes up for it. I would like to take one of my Pair of 35s and have a shorter wire put on it to make for less cumbersome running. Has anyone ever done this? John

You run with IEMs? I hope you have a lot of life insurance. John
