Hi, I'm looking to buy some new IEMs to use with my PMP. While at home I prefer high quality, on the road I just need good isolation. The only cheap isolation IEM that I know of is the JVC Marshmallow. I am thinking about purchasing them, but I was also wondering if there were any better alternatives.

I don't really care about the sound quality because I assume at this price range that most IEMs will sound about the same. Please recommend me some good isolation earbuds!

Ah, you'd be very surprised

. Unfortunately, the best-sounding ones provide rather average isolation. If you really prize isolation above all else I would suggest these. EQ the bass down a couple of notches and they don't sound half bad while isolating better than anything I've tried in that price range.

Koss KE29 isolates better than marshmallow and sounds better too.
