Hello everyone!

So, what would you suggest, if the main criteria were sturdiness and build quality, passable sound staging and performance, and sound-proofing (no leak outside, work-environment friendly)? I also need to mention I will be using the headphones both on my Android devices and Windows PC, and without any added magic sauce (DAC, etc). And no I won't be needing a built-in microphone.

PS I live in Finland.

I like Soundmagic E80. You can buy them internationally here: http://penonaudio.com/index.php?route=product/search&search=soundmagic

Here is a discussion thread for them: http://www.head-fi.org/t/772661/soundmagic-e50-e80-story-of-two-magicians-a-review

Thank you! I think I'll pick one.. is the webstore reliable? The German Amazon site is selling the same device for €84 (93 +shipping), so I'm just wondering if there is something shady going on.

Penon Audio is a popular international seller on Head-Fi. They also have an Ebay store with name bigbargainonline if you want to check their ratings.

I've already asked their customer support this and am waiting on the reply, but I'd appreciate it if you told me whether the prices in there include VAT for EU customers or not. I'm asking because even before the ending steps of the order there is no indication of it..

Well no! Still sort of unsure if the Soundmagic will do me any good though, mostly because I don't own an amplifier, and I generally think one is needed for the so called neutral headphones like this. Have you by any chance owned a Beyerdynamic DX160IE? A shop nearby has got one and maybe I could estimate the Soundmagic by trying that out first.
