Best IEMs for ~$50

the E30 is much better than A151, better extension on both ends. the A151 treble roll off is pretty bad, and it has a very warm signature, the highs are almost non-existent.

they really are far from balanced. HD668B is my bench mark for balanced at the mo (bumped the mids up a bit)

i would highly reccomend the E30 to anyone looking for a nicely balanced cheap IEM

One other consideration - which ones would you recommend that come with foam pads? I find they're much better for working out.

The GR-06 and R02 phones come with a set of foam tips. The A151 and E30 phones only come with silicone tips. A note on using foams while working out, if your ears sweat a bit or your hair drips sweat into your ears than the foams are going to get gross pretty quick and you might find yourself buying replacements quick. The harder coated black foam hybrid tips won't be as bad but the squishy ones will absorb sweat and get icky. A double flange soft silicone might do you better in this case if they fit well enough.

If sub-average isolation is fine with you, go for it then.
