I listen to hip-hop, rap, techno, club, dubstep, pop, and top chart songs.

I don't want to have to carry an amp with me so they have to run on Android sources well.

What do you guys have in mind?

Sounds like you like bass. I'd highly recommend the MG7 Pro which you can still get for 50% off at atrio.me with the coupon (search in the MG7 thread). They have the best sub bass in a universal and no mid bass bleed into the midrange.

Don't forget the EX600! You can always find it and the FXT90 under $150. GR07 for a little more. All three are consensus "high-end" IEMs.

For bassy music like you listen to you may as well just get the MG7 while it's on sale and call it a day.

I upped my budget and went with the Sony EX1000.

Can I get Comply tips with them or will that ruin the sound?

Wow, going straight to the top of the food chain, huh? Complys work just fine with the EX1000(the T400s for instance), but I don't like those tips so I can't really comment on how they affect the sound.
