Hi all,

My klipsch S4's have stopped working recently, likely a problem with the cabling. I figured I would make an upgrade with the ATH CKM500's. I like the sound of these much more than the S4's, but they do not seem to fit the Shure olives. I have tried stretching the Shure olives with a plier but I am not having any luck getting them on.

The Shure olives are by far my favorite tips (more durable and comfortable and cheaper than the comply tips). What would be the best IEM's around $60 or under that would fit Shure Olives?

Sound preferences: EDM, Rock, Hip hop. Neutral with slight bass hump ideally, but I like lots of sound signatures as long as it isn't muddy. Sounds I like: ATH M-50, Sennheiser HD600, Emotiva Airmotiv 4's.

Let's just pretend you own the tips on the picture, turn them out, cut them close to where the tip start to form the balloon (if I can call it in that way) and keep only the green/blue/orange part. Then put the olives on top of the green part

I don't understand how the olives go on top of the green part after you cut the green part

looks like your tips are smaller. The problem with the ATH CKM500's is that they are too thick so you can't even get the foam tips around them.

My shure olives have a narrower opening than yours it seems.
