I haven't yet seen a head-to-head comparison between the Senn IEMs and the low end Ety's or Shure's. I recently bought the Senns and I am happy with them, so maybe I don't want to know, but any comparisons would be welcome.

sennheiser cx-300=cannalphones

etymotic er-6i and im 616 (which supposedly have the same drivers) are IEMS and having used both the etymotic er-6i and sennheisers, the etymotics are thoroughly better, the refinement is incomparable.

BTW I second the im616 vote.

cx300 is my vote but if you can squeeze in a few more bucks then the Im716 is a must.

since i'm a ultimate ears user... and automatically biased by its excellence... why don't you just wait for another 1 1/2 months and grab one of those metro.fi 2... search for metro.fi in the forum... the response are quite good you know...
