Hey there, i know there are heaps of under $100 threads but they arent specific to me.

i need some iems under $100, that have preety good sound isolation and will last a while as well.

They need to be quite balanced and if they have a little extra bass that is really good but i dont want the bass to be overpowering.

i listen to mainly rap/hip hop/rnb but i also listen to a lot of soul and pop as well as youtube covers for example this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kDX4VGzNYU.

I want them to have a clear and crisp sound when im listening to music and i dont want them to sound boring either.

I would personally recommend the Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10. Has some bass emphasis but not too much at all.

But you should just go to this thread of you want something that is specific enough...... look in the 100 dollar teir and you will find what you are looking for.

I've been doing a bit of reasearch, wil the sony xba-2 or etymotic hf5 or VSONIC gr06 or Klipsch be to my liking?

The only person that can answer that question is you.

Spun out from my RenovateD and NCX'd HTC One X!

Rikardoliepa, you damn scammer. Either mail me my **** back or send me the headphones and Rocco BA like you promised or leave the damn forums.
I swear to god it's dicks like you that ruin a good website like this for everybody else.

The klipsch are not the headphones you want and I recommend you stay away from them as they are very sibilant and do not have the best base, my vote would be for the Etymotics.

the hf5s are good but the bass is very thin and will leave you wanting more. I'd recommend the re zeroes or fxd80s for a balanced sound with a bit more bass. I prefer the re zeroes but the fxd80s have more of a 3d sound. I haven't heard any of the other iems here but I listen to similar music and the re zeroes do pop and rnb very well but so do the fxd80s.

However, since you seem to be a new member I'd recommend trying some of the "value" headphones, the jvc fx40(~20usd), fx101(~20usd), and fx31(~30usd) work well with the types of music you described, I own both fx40 and 101s and the 101s have a lot more bass but the fx40s have more mids and high extension. All of them perform well above their price range, you should look into this thread to get started without putting a massive dent in your wallet first...

I bought the fx40s, 101s and fxd80s on dsnuts' review and have not been disappointed. I'd read up on this thread to get started on this wallet draining hobby...

I also think the HF5 bass response will not be good enough for your likes
