I'm looking for the best headphones, maybe your recommendation for IEM or over ear for a maximum value of $75 in store or online, for use with an iPod with no external amp going to be used.

I am thinking about the new Apple IEM's with remote for $70ish online the dual driver ones that just came out the other day.

The Nuforce NE-7M is a nice phone, a review of it on Head-Fi. It's only $49, and has a mic for an iPhone/iPod Touch. But, as I noted, it really sounds best with Comply tips in my view. I could not get anywhere near the deepest bass and excellent sound without the foamies, but that could just be my ears and the way the OEM sleeves fit.

Or, you just might want to try the new dual driver Apple phone for $30 more.
