Hello all. I'm back again for your top notch advice on all things audio.
My ATH-M50x just died and I'm once again on the market for headphones. This time around tho, I'm looking for something a bit specific. I've done lots of reading on the HD600 and it's universality and neutrality really stood out. I'm most definitely going to invest in a pair of those in the future. However that isn't in my range for right now.
TLDR: To get to the point, Im looking for headphones that'll work well for listening to music on a Samsung Galaxy S5 without needing portable amp. Something that's preferably either neutral or something bass-y, but not muddy. Cut off price at $150, tho if anyone knows where to find the HD600s for around the $250 range I'll jump right on that too. If there's some combination of headphones/amp that's still within a decent price range I've no issues with that either, just so long as it'll work out with the cell phone.
Thanks for all your help guys!
