I listen to mostly rock/rock alternative sucha as the black keys red hot chili peppers and the arctic monkeys. There is one sorta electric band I listen to called ratatat. I have v moda crossfade lp's that I got for $50 and I figured they are made for dub step rap and hip hop which I'm not too into. I'm just trying to find some nice headphones in the 200-300 dollar range that are nice for the kind of music I listen to any suggestions?

Grado 325i, if you don't mind open cans. Incredible for guitar-based rock.

Shure SRH840 which are more accurate, a good closed back option for Alt rock and such. And the Krk 8400 but it has less bass, but more comfort.
