I never really saw the point of headphones dedicated to movies specifically since I have a decent set of speakers and an amp for my tv....until I got the SHP9500s. I have been really surprised to find I not only enjoy most movies just as much on headphones, but some movies are actually enhanced by them.
Baby Driver, The Hitmans Bodyguard, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 for example are all much more enjoyable on the 9500s ....I have a pretty good idea of where the 9500s stand in their price range for music, and I even added a little to the budget for earpad upgrade, but even adjusting for throwing some nice ear pads on them they are still only $75....
Is there anything out there for that price that would be better? How much more would I have to spend to make it BETTER enough to justify spending more money?
