I stopped with competitive gaming a while ago, I mostly play League of Legends and some CoD's for fun now. I just don't want the headphones be extra bad at games, but what I really want is that the music comes alive and that it has bass. With my current headset (Sound Blaster Tactic3D Alpha) which was about 60$ sounds great in games and average at music. It sounds really muddy until I change some settings in the Creative control panel because this headset has a USB sound card. Otherwise it would sound dull and just bad. But with the right settings it sounds nice for a gaming headset. I would also get the Sony MDREX310LP In Ear Headphones for my Android and MP3 player. So I'm kinda wanting a not-so-portable headphones but with good sound quality and a 70$ price tag or less.

Hm...Ok I've not heard them, but I've heard of the following headphones as good all-rounders (and often for gaming):
Samson sr850 ($50)
JVC RX 700 ($30)
