Hey,
Im new to the forums. I have gained a lot of knowlegde and Im finally buying my first hi-fi headphones.
I have a range of 175 USD. Im from india and here we dont get many audiophile headphones. I am getting the ath m50 for $170 and shure 750dj for $185. The hd 380 pro is for $155. Please help me and please recommend a good pair.

You could save a few dollars and buy some Gemini HSR-1000 (Takstar Pro 80) off eBay or other internet seller.

If you like IEM, I would suggest you the XBA-3!

For over-the-ear type, I like HD439, UE6000. Both are good but depends on what you are looking for!

Id recommend the ATH WS99.  I just like them a lot better than the m50,and tons of other cans.  They specialize in electronic music.

Yeah. They were my first preference but they are not available in india and I calculated the import cost and with the headphones they amount up to 300 USD. Which is way above my range.
