Best Headphones for around $200?

Hey guys I know I'm new to the threads and hate to ask a question I'm sure has been asked many times before but here it goes. I have always loved music, but recently have gotten into higher quality headphones. I am looking for a pair of headphones that I can get for around $200(up within $50 or so is fine). I have looked around and listened to some different headphones. I have heard a lot of good stuff about Sennheiser and was looking into getting the hd 595's, but I do not like the fact that they create so much noise outside of your headphones that you can't use them in public without annoying everyone around you. The others I was looking at where the ATH m50's. If anyone has any suggestions as to what would be the best pair of headphones in this price range I would really appreciate any help. I mostly listen to rock, hiphop/rap, and then some alternative(beatles and coldplay type of music). Thanks again

I got my Denon's for $229 and my musical taste is pretty close to yours, these things sound great and the bass is excellent.

i got the shure srh750dj headphones and they compare to the ath m50 headphones. i got them for 129.99 but they were on sale from 189.99. i think they sound really good but required some burning in. i didnt like it at first but after about 30 hours of burn in they definately improved.

I prefer good isolation over noise canceling it makes a hiss in the background.
