I've been collecting Audio Technica woodies and leather headphones for a while. Now I own W1000, W2002, L3000 and L5000.
I would like to demonstrate them in a display cabin. What makes me headache is the choice of the headphone stand.
Most of the Audio technica headphone have 2 small wings and 2 earpad which will touch the headphone. If I hang them on the headphone stand like this, the earpads and wings will directly contact with the headphone stand and the stand seems to have a constant pressure on the wings and earpads, which could leads the earpads out of sharp after a period of time.
Although this seems to be a problem for me, but it looks like Audio technica didn't quite care about this, they have released a similar headphone stand HP-APS700 like this:
The ATH-AWKT does not have two 'wings' compared with previous model and seems fit the stand pretty well. But I suspect if it fits the previous model.
The previous two Audio Technica headphone stand seems fits the old woodies better, but they are not in manufacture for a while and hard to obtain.
Is there any other headphone stand you recommend for audio technica headphones?
BTW: It seems the earpad will become out of shape even store in the original box...
