I am looking at Etymotic ER-6i Earphones for £60 or the Sennheiser CX 500 for £40.

Is it a waste of money? What should I get?

Mainly listen to hard house, electro, techno. thx

get senn if you want some bass. Get ety if you want pure detail, treble and clarity

You can try some low sensitivity IEM, er6i or UM1 etc. Otherwise, the hiss from w810 will kill any kind of music listening.
