I currently have ESW9's with a IBasso D10 amp and love the ESW9's. So I was thinking about getting the W1000 or W5000 for A full size can set up. I plan on upgrading the amp for the full size cans to a small desktop. Am I on the right track? Are the W5000 going to satisfy, and what kind of power and amp are going to bring out the true beauty of the W5000 for the best price? Is the HiFiMan EF2 going to do them justice? Im a basshead, but i obveously love the whole SQ-who doesnt?

W5000 are not remotely basshead cans. Their bass is probably a bit short of neutral. I would suggest the D7000 in your price range and for your needs. The D10 should do a pretty good job of driving them although a higher power ss amp would of course be better.
