ok so, ive come across money recently from graduation, and i put aside $500.
ive decided i have a good open pair of headphones (K240, headphile blacksilver is coming, etc.) a good pair of bass heavy cans (beyer 770 pros), and a good pair of buds for running, biking, lifting, really on the go stuff, etc.
im looking to pair a new port amp with a sub-$300 closed pair of headphones, that can FOLD
this will be my "backpack" headphone, for travel, car, etc where i can have full sized cans, but would prefer isolation while not having them take up my entire backpack.
i was considering some ultrasones but know nothing of the brand or any other companies with good folding cans.
im looking for a good all around 'phone, punchy bass, good mids, and decent/good highs.
a good oh hey ill listen to techno and not have the bass be weak but switch to soft music to relax on a plain to or something with the same pair.
these will be used with a Zune 80 --> D2 Boa ---> XXXXX setup.
