Best file format to rip cd’s into and also to repair audio from scratched cd’s?

I think FLAC is the way to go however my Sony NW-ZX507 supports DSD512. Is this the best option or any input really would be greatly appreciated.
Also I know it’s possible to correct scratched cd’s missing parts of the song, um, how would I go about ripping this.

TLDR: I did search though it really didn’t come up with much on the consensus of best file format or a program to rip into said file format and repair it at the same time.

FLAC is the way to go. You cannot rip to DSD512 and it would be a huge waste of everything. CD is 44.1 KHz 16 bit depth. If you rip to something higher res (probably ripping to DSD is impossible anyway) then you are just wasting bytes.

Repairing bad CDs is beyond the limits of normal consumer software.
