as the title says..i'm looking for the best usb analog out sound quality wise(that means either headphone out or line out to the amp, no external dacs).. lets see.. we have the

m-audio sonica
m-audio transit
m-audio audiophile usb
echo indigo
optotrak?
xitels?

i'm looking for the best source i can find.. without having to throw in DACs into the play.. nominations? suggestions? i currently have my eyes set on the audiophile usb..wondering if thats the right choice...

I use the Echo Layla in my homestudio and really love it, I would recommend Echo's products to be considered.

Well the Audiophile USB is definately better than the OptoPlay, but I can't help you beyond that.
