Which headphones would you reccomend for < $50 for rock?  Out of an MP3 player, no amp, no DAC.

Classic rock.  Comfort is pretty important.

Very comfy for me. Very little harmonics, great sound for the money. Unfortunately you just missed a great sale. I think they were 41% off, but they are still worth the $49 IMHO.
You can still get the older generation M6's(the maroon ones) for $29. They have the same great sound, but the cable on the new one is improved. Up to you if the better cable is worth the $20.

They're all a different in signature but sound quite good for the money with classic rock IMO.
