Hey guys, just managed to order some of the IE7's that are mentioned in another thread on here for a great price from Play.com, alas they don't come with accessories so I'll be needing some ear tips. I've never bought ear tips seperately before so some advice would be really good, what are you guys using with the IE series? Will these be ok?

Or should I pick up something better!?

Thanks!

Those tips work wonders for me. The JVCs are a bit thicker so they offer great isolation and good sound transfer. Both are worth it IMO. You can also order them in medium size as well or small. I use large.

I see you've made a thread. I might actually order the ones you've linked as even if I don't like them they're only £1.79 and I'll be able to try both medium and large.

May be a bit obvious, but there is always Comply.
(they make memory foam tips)

The problem with the comply tips though is they take away from the treble and increase bass so generally its not a good combo with the IE series. Also I literally broke my first pair of IE8s just taking the damn things off (thank God for Square trade, I'd been screwed otherwise).

Always a huge fan of the Sony Hybrids. Fantastic w/ IE7, IE8

I'm not aware of anybody selling a genuine set of these in the UK and all of the international sellers charge a couple of pounds for delivery bringing the price to around £10, which if I'm honest seems fairly expensive for some pieces of silicone.

Yup made a thread! The sony ones look good, there doesn't seem to be anywhere in the uk that sells them though unless i order them from USA ebay! Thanks for the other suggestions guys, i just wish they were easy to pick up in the uk!

Yeah i think i might try the £1.79 ones on ebay too, i guess it's not much to loose!

The problem with the hybrids is that they obstruct the larger grill of the IE7/IE8 and muffle the sound. They shrink the sound stage which I find to not be worth the minor refinements it will bring.
