Greetings to all people!
I use a simple microfiber cloth of sufficient size to cover the headphones completely, I have them hanging from an Audioquest stand.
I hope it helps.

Was just going to recommend this solution.
It's what I use on my cameras, which I store
on their individual tripods.
Not gonna protect against impact (or water)
damage, but as they are I just don't see those
as hazards.
Of course the manner in which you store your
headphones might call for something different.

I think the microfiber cloth recommendation is a great idea; simple, and effective at keeping away the dust (the only real thing that can be protected from when considering the headphones are on a stand and out of their case). The only drawback is that it's not clear and some beautiful headphones deserve to be displayed fully haha

The Stax CPC-1 solves the clear problem. $20-30 isn't particularly cheap for a plastic bag but in the realms of this hobby, not much money at all. Only drawback to this approach is that it doesn't look like the CPC-1 might fit bigger stands/headphones.

Today i bought some shelf cubes to cover mine from dust. Maybe not as effective as putting something over them but i think they're bit more protected than just standing open in the room.

This is pretty ultimate! If this fits over a stand with large headphones, it's unbeatable.

That looks beautiful and certainly provides some protection, as well. Also, space saving with the stacking. Really nice.
