I just picked up the Senns HD 558, I might have gone with the HD 598 if the price was lower, however I still didn't feel they're was any difference between the two, maybe the 598 had a bit more base, and slightly wider soundstage, but that was it. Anyways, I know about the Astro Mixamp, but how good is it for movies? I've also read of a "hizzing" noise when turning up the volume, is this true? Does anyone here that has it care to comment? If the mixamp is good for movies and music as much as it is good for games, and without hizzing I'll get, if not hopefully someone can recommend something better. Thanks you very much.
